Always searching for the best deals? I’m Prajeesh Prasannan, a Brand Expert dedicated to making every shopping experience easier and more affordable by finding top offers and discounts from leading brands.

I have worked at VoucherCodes as a brand expert for the past one and a half years, where I collect, update, and check deals every day. I graduated with a B.Com in Computer Application. I work carefully to ensure shoppers always have access to the latest and best deals. I work with brands like Yoox, Samsung, AliExpress, and JD Sports, so you always have good choices.

When I’m not working, I enjoy gaming and photography. Gaming is one of my favourite hobbies, and I really like checking out brands when shopping for the latest consoles and accessories, so I always compare prices on Amazon and Flipkart before deciding what to buy. For photography, I look for trusted camera shops and reliable online sites to be sure I get real products with a warranty. These hobbies have taught me to take my time, compare options, and always check for the best value before making a purchase.

I always try to share something useful from my own experience. If you want to save money, looking for bundle deals is a smart move, especially when buying things like lenses, memory cards or tripods for photography. Buying these items together is often cheaper than getting them one by one. This is something I have learned over time, and it really helps you save your money. No matter what you’re looking for, I’m here to help you find the best deals and make shopping at VoucherCodes easy and rewarding.

Spotlight Q&A

How does a typical workday look for you?

Being a Deal Expert at VoucherCodes means carefully checking, researching and managing deals every day. I usually start my day by reviewing the website to make sure all deal categories are up tp date, links are working and everything appears to be in order from the perspective of a customer. I then proceed to our core merchant list. I go over each brand's page carefully to make sure we're displaying their most recent deals. I make sure that any new flash sales or discounts are active and visible. Additionally, since they are essential to both, I closely monitor high-performing brands to ensure that their deals are presented well and go smoothly.

How do you stay updated with hundreds of brands?

I keep myself up to date on hundreds of brands using a clear and consistent method. I've categorised all the brands into two broad categories, priority and basic. Priority brands are the top brands in the market or the most revenue-generating ones, so I check them daily to ensure their offers are up to date. The basic ones are verified weekly to ensure no brand is missed. To clear expired offers, an expiry date is added to each offer, and on the correct dates, the offers are automatically removed from our sites, keeping the site clean and up-to-date for users. Apart from manual monitoring, I also receive offers from affiliate networks, which assist me in finding and renewing top-value deals as soon as they are shared. This combination of daily checks, monitoring and affiliate network support enables me to handle a high volume of brands effectively without compromising on ensuring that our customers get to view the latest and most valuable offers at all times.

How do you know a deal is really good?

To decide if a deal is good, I look at how clear it is, when it’s available, and how useful it really is. I check what the offer includes whether it’s a real discount, free shipping, or extra benefits that add value. A deal becomes special when it gives more than what we usually see. Timing is important too. Deals from big sale events, new launches, or limited-time brand offers are often more valuable. I also pay attention to what people are searching for, and if a deal matches what users need at that time, it’s worth highlighting. I also think about convenience. The offer should be easy to understand, with clear terms, working links, and no hidden steps. A good deal should feel simple and satisfying. It’s not just about a big discount, but about whether it truly helps users save money in a practical way. That’s what I check before sharing any deal.
